    E30 M3 seat - powered?

I'm looking at buying an E30 M3 seat, and am wondering if they were available powered?

I'm looking at one in Japan from a 1988 M3, and the pic I've seen has two wires coming out of it, but as I don't speak Japanese, am unable to confirm with the seller what they're for.

The wires coming from the seat are most likely for the seatbelt light. I'm very confident that no E30 had power seats. I've never seen them.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

Yes it's for the seatbelt light I believe, no power E30 seats were available

It's definitely not powered, however, the wires may be for heater coils.

I sure hope his seller would know if he has e30 m3 heated seats or not.

I didn't think they made any powered E30 M3 seats. The wires are look at least a metre or so long, and have positive and negative plugs on the end.

Those wires are for the seatbelt sensor.

I'm glad the're not powered - I couldn't be bothered with the extra hassle and I want to keep weight down as much as possible.

I ended up buying it - here's a pic. It should stop me sliding around!

Are you in Japan? Just curious as most sellers there won't ship international. If you need translation help just shoot me an email. :)

No, I'm in Australia - I have a friend in Japan at the moment to do all the running around for me 8).

Thanks for the offer - next time I'm buying something I'll take you up on that. I've been using google translators, that although being very amusing, usually don't make a whole lot of sense.
