Custom upholstered race seats and M3 rear seat pics!!!

I only had 1 roll of the M cloth to work with so I had to improvise (skimp), particularly on the back seat but for the most part I think it came out alright. I love how the gray alcantera matches lachsilber and contrasts with the cloth inserts. I wanted something "different" and I think I've accomplished that so I'm happy with how it turned out. Feel free to post opinions.

i think it contrasts quite a bit against the black interior, but i like it. I didn't know you were doing the rear seats too !! but i guess it wouldn't be as complete without.

    Nice work!!

I'll give you a A for effort and quality, but I just don't dig it.

Ditto. They would have looked much better in all alcantera.

All the grey area IS alcantara guys. The rest of it is a factory M cloth.

The grey color is darker in person as well. I think it looks good. The pictures don't do it justice.

I don't like that M clothe. The Evo clothe that Mike's Faux Evo is sporting however is amazing.

Looks good. I think you should match the ebrake and shift boots in the alcantara.

Good to hear the opinions. I initially was looking for the Sport Evo M cloth but it's hard to find and has been NLA from BMW, so I went with something different and more original. After seeing a few pics the sport evo cloth doesn't look as good on seats in my opinion...it's too uniform and reminds me of a candycane. I like how this M cloth looks, because it's black and has a more aggressive pattern. All gray ultra-suede would just be too plain though. Looks wasn't the only reason for this project, the suede is very grippy and I had the front seats stuffed a bit for more support in certain areas.

if the grey is acually darker in person i think it would look better, the pictures just don't look that great. I'd love to have a M3 rear seat...i think those are great.

I'm with Jordan on this one. The work is outstanding, just not my style.

But if you love it, that's all that matters.

What M car does that clothe come from? How much does it cost?

That's not sport evo cloth. Sprot evo cloth is grey and has the M stripes in a uniform pattern. It's not random like this.

It's from some euro E34 and E36 M-tec interiors called amaretta. There are a lot of cloth interiors that we didn't get here.
