Possibility of moving the seat up more than where it stops at?
The only problem I see is being able to get to the front nuts to tighten them up. You best bet might be to just drill new holes through the floor and use a bolt and nut on the bottom. Or weld new nuts to the bottom of the chassis. If you do, make sure to plug up the original holes some how. A plastic plug and some sealant should do the trick.
Seat tracks do vary and this is from a cabrio which I know has less movement than hardtops, but you can see the front and rear stops which are both held in with screws...or you can just cut them shorter in place.
Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch. Email John or Garrett at ninestitch1@gmail.com
