Can i just swap the reclining/tilt assemblies from my comfort seats to a sport seat? Something tells me they are different.

If you mean the hinges for the seat back I do believe they are the same.

All of the seat internals are the same as far as I know. Only difference I can think of is the handles on a convertible seatback look different.

They are definitely interchangeable. The only difference that I have found is that some pairs have right and left shocks on the upper part of the "hinge." The later ones only have a shock on one side.

thanks for the help guys! While we're on the subject of seat shocks, does anyone know an easy way of getting new seat shocks onto the side of seat pegs? I remember trying to tackle that on my old set of seats, and couldn't find a safe or proper way of compressing the seat shock. Any input is appreciated....thanks!

Can you use a large zip ties/ tie wire to hold them compressed then cut them when they are back on your seat?
