    These recaro's worth it?

I think imma grab them, but what are these going for? With the recaro seat brackets can i get the lettering embroided without shops being worried bout copy rights? Can i drop these directly on e30 brackets? I doubt i can but maybe someone knows bout evo 1's.

Hurts to see them look so bad. Worth it if you recover them.

+1 but they are recaro SRD's so many wants...buy and recover then if you want resell easily for profit or mount and enjoy.

Any links to making sure they are real srd's? Also where is the mechanism for backseat entry?

Just google recaro replica, they will have a lot of info. The usual kicker is the R and O spacing is different between fakes and real recaros. I do not think its coincidence that a "recaro" seat is so cheaply priced and that the upholstry is loose. Recaro fixed back pole positions are 1k each about.

Old replica seats used to not have fia approved stickers.. but the replica companys figured they can post a faulty one and call it a day as a real recaro. Eithor way, I would be careful. As much as I wanted a racing seat, I chose against it because you will be paying 4-500 on seats that are not approved in any manner. In an accident, you must remain safe and in the correct position, if a backseat breaks or any other bs due to cheap seats would not just be worth it. I had to reread over and over about this before I decided against it.

                Good luck

For sure. Might be able to take some of their wrinkles out with a good steamer but it looks pretty loose so even that's a crap shoot.

Seem like legit recaros to me that this guy got for cheap and paid not a whole lot to get them recovered. Interior work (good interior work) is really expensive. You could make sure they are real, if so definitely buy them. Then what I would do is sell the jackets and inserts, someone will want them. Use that money to recover properly to your liking. Then BOOM!!! awesome seats :)
