I had mine redone and they did a really nice job, the leather is high quality and fits perfectly under my hands.

In the photo the recovered wheel is on the right.

The company makes kits so you can sew the new leather on or you can send the entire wheel to them. I got mine done for ~180 or so.

      Looks nice.
I was going to order the black leather to recover, But I saw they had some suede wheels, so I changed it to black suede.

They said it's not too hard to sew it up, just takes some time, and I'll save $110.

One thing about suede, watch how fast it wears.

I had one of those fancy-smancy italian suede wheels in my car for ~2 years or so. Initially the wheel was really grippy and felt really nice, but the suede did deteriorate pretty quickly under the 3 and 9 positions on the wheel.

Yea, I've heard it wears fast. I'm not too worried about it. It can't stay new forever. If it starts to look bad, I'll redo it. No big deal.

Still haven't received the cover yet, I guess it usually takes a while.

Finally received the kit on Saturday, after 2 months, haha. I am supposed to get a free suede shift boot for my troubles, but they forgot to ship it. It took a few hours to stitch up, looks good for a first attempt.

Should get mine in by next week. Going to attempt to sew it together myself. I'll post pics when it's all done :)

Im bumping this thread as Im extremely curious to hear how difficult how this job is. I keep seeing momo wheels that need recovering and Id like to get one on the cheap.
