    Evo cloth

I remember a while back people reproducing the Evo cloth for interior. Is it still available? Does anyone still sell it by the yard? Thanks.

He stopped producing it and sold off all of the remaining cloth.

I saw a shift boot made out of that stuff. I was wondering if I could get my hands on some of it too. PM me if you find any.

I have a sample on the way to me, going to send it in for a reproduction quote. Based on photos my vendor is confident it can be reproduced.

Once I get the specifics, I'll put on a group buy. Fingers crossed!

Cletoris; how soon till you hear back from your vendor?
-Is the vendor domestic or international?

-I have seen some very nice cloths, coming from different manufacturers within the U.S. but, I have yet to see anything close to the Alpina/Evo cloths quality.
Those fabricsis are very nice and, I'm pretty sure it will be over $70 a yard without a vendors lic. discount.

I'm very interested, so please PM me when you hear back from your guy.

                  TIA.

It's a US vendor, they've been producing high quality cloths for decades. The other cloths I've purchased from them have felt similar to the NOS OE BMW cloths I've had people send to me so I am very hopeful for an outstanding result.

The price will likely be around $100/yd retail. They have told me they don't do any form of discounting on custom fabrics so we're all on the hook for full price. I am waiting on a reply about a volume price break.

Edit: I have sent photos and given them the color chart information, a roll-width sample is headed my way so I can forward it to them.

I could probably go to China and pay less but I wanted to use a company that would do all the work stateside. I have used this company's manufactured cloths in my shift boots many times and everyone has been pleased with the quality.

I'm still waiting on the mail to receive my sample to send in. I'm hoping I'll be able to send it to them next week, just depends on the mail.

Yikes! I hope the volume discount is a lot, cause at that price I would say I'm completely out.

Who else is out at that price?

If the price is too high for most I'm not going to waste my time. I don't want to assume they'll give us a discount of any kind, they want to discuss pricing after they look at the sample. I can't see it going much lower. They've always been very clear on pricing, and they don't even discount for the trade.

I think it really depends on quality.
