Wonder if its ever been done.. friend of mine has a e90 328i and for some weird reason I like the way the gong/chime sounds. It's the little things in cars that catch my attention.

looks like you're right, actually. post 2007 e90s had it come through the speakers it seems. otherwise it sounds like it's coming from the dash...1988 Atlantisblau Euro/Japanese 325i Cabriolet

But about the e90 ones, it seems to be a software thing... Up to and including 2007 was through the dash cluster i think, and then after that through the speakers. Shame - they do sound way better!1988 Atlantisblau Euro/Japanese 325i Cabriolet
