Rob's (not me, rscheiring) ebrake boot

I scored an ebrake boot from rob (rscheiring), here it is:

    as delivered:

    installed:

I mounted the leather boot onto the metal frame that was in the rubber accordian crap. the leather is good quality, and feels much better than the shift boot. But they look very close to identical, which makes the new ebrake boot look factory.

    A great buy I think

          Thanks Rob.

WG - I should have some pics up on this boot shortly, Including the down shot. My www shows the prior version - same shape, but new one has double stitching on top (aka french seam) and the end is rolled in on itself, not finished. The boot is $20.

I actually couldnt get the rolled end to fit over the brake lever. No matter though as the end fits into my UUC brake lever

Hmmm. I'll make that opening a bit bigger. I just rough fit one on the weekend and it was a tight fit, but it did make it (on the OEM handle).

Btw, I like the UUC handle!

A very nice upgrade indeed. I installed the Wheelskins version as one of my first "mods" to my car. It makes a HUGE difference.

Rob is sending me a prototype version of one with dual-seams (like the OEM one). I have the leather e-brake handle now so the seams on both the handle and the boot should line up. I'll post pictures as soon as I get in installed.

Nice. I need to pick up a leather ebrake handle and one of those double-stitch gators.
My stock handle is cracked and broken, so I'll definately need to get on it eventually.
Let us know when you got the double done and ready.

Hey Robert. Ken's is the same as Rob's. I think Ken is referring to the single stitch my prior version had (chech out my www below and you'll see the old one).
                            Hope that helps.
