Ultimate cupholder, expensive but it works great and I like the location.

I use that German Griot's cupholder. I used the high strength white velcro squares and attached it to the pass. side of the center console, in just the right spot, so that the glovebox doesn't hit it when open or sliding the pass seat forward/folding it won't hit it either - a great product.

You can get it cheaper from the ultimate cup holder site too.

I put the drink on the passenger side and buckle it in with the seat belt snugly. If you drive normally itll be fine. I just dont drink it 'till I get there.

I went to Carls jr a couple of nights ago after riding and got a burger combo large sized. The cup was insane!!!!!!!!! It was like a foot tall! I proceeded to stop at a gas station on the way home and chuck it. I could just feel it was gonna spill all 50 ounces or whatever all over my ride.

                    cupholder

I use a handy little gadget you can pick up at walmart for a few bucks that holds 2 drinks side by side that just slips into the side pocket . it also has a smaller pocket to hold cell or change AND no drilling it can be moved or just removed how ever you wish !

I made this one awhile back, but it requires cutting the console, and it might not work with a regular shifter...i use that z4 3.0 or whatever, the super short shifter...and this cupholder is just magical dosent get in the way or anything

I took all the silver screws out and replaced them with blackones to make them not look so obvious...this one is very raw still, and needs refinement. i am currently building a nicer one that looks the almost the same, but is more precise, uses a textured abs and will show no screws. Maybe even anodized aluminum..

I somehow learned to shift with a drink between my knees. I like the look of that one from Griot's, though...but I can't decide, I like the ferret idea too.

Just to counter than the "holier than thou" attitude that always comes up: a cupholder doesn't mean that you will be eating or drinking in the car. You need the cupholder to safely transport the drink. Consider it a safety feature, much like a car seat, rather than an indication of moral weakness.
