    E36 M3 Rear seats in E30

This is like a needle in a haystack. I have searched here, E30tech, the internet, the newspaper (just kidding) to find someone that did this that I can see the pics.

I found one thread but all the pics are gone of a completed car. I already have Vaders for the front seats, I can get a set of perfect condition matching rear seats for just about nothing except I have to pay my friend to ship them.

But do I even start this project. I guess with time and money anything will fit but how much of a pain it is.

What i know so far, they are about an inch higher. The seatbelts I cant use (I will stick with the originals). I am sure the mounting points are off but I can make those.

What I need to know, will the width fit. My friend hasnt had time to measure his yet.

Does somebody, anybody have a pic or a link of this being done?

I don't think they'll work. It will definitely be easier and maybe cheaper (don't know how much rear e36 M3 seats go for) but I would get new seat skins for your rear seats that match the e36 m3 design.

Thats where I think I will land. Since I have the vadars in front I want to match the look.

I believe I saw a thread once upon a time claiming one piece fits, either the bench or the seat back, but only one "fits"

Well the rear upper is a fold down design so you would have to add mounts for the sides and the center section. My suggestion get an E30 M3rear.
