HVAC Panel for Android, and Apple devices

Hi folks, Hope everyone is doing well!

I'm posting here to see if there was a general interest in an aftermarket HVAC panel that can be used with our Smartphones. This would be a fully redone, brand new panel that has been reorganized to fit even the Larger devices.

    • You'll be able to choose from two packages; Either an Android, Or an Iphone based package.

    • The panel will feature an adjustable clamp that secures the device in place, you will be able to tilt the screen to any direction you wish, with a light push of your finger.

    • With the right amount of interest, this will not only be a docking station as well, but be Bluetooth capable, with an HD Microphone for safer hands free speech.

    • This will delete your current Head unit, you will rely on your Smartphone for your entertainment

This is all I can really confirm for now, as the rest of our ideas are just speculation, or in the thought process right now.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

Interesting idea. You'll have to relocate a bunch of stuff. Check out http://www.soundmanca.com/

And his youtube channels. He does tons of custom ipad/android installs - and makes kits that let you DIY if you are handy with a dremel and bondo.

Cool video George! We are still coming up with great ideas regarding this panel folks!
We want an opinion from some of you!

Would you rather have bluetooth, or retain Sound quality?

We can use a raspberry type device and do all sorts of neat things, but it will cost more in most cases.

The other choice using high quality RCA jacks, and a control panel that has a multitude of hook ups, 3.5, rca, mic, USB ETC.

            Thanks! Concept photo coming soon!

I would be interested, I want to see what the vision looks like.

This was what I was thinking, I wanted to get an Ipad Mini and put it the bottom area below the HVAC area on a tilt toward the driver and connect to both the stereo and the OBD port to get readings on the engine (ipad gauges etc).

Sorry for the delay guys, this is still an active project, but life, and work is priority. I like the ideas coming along, the main goal is to have a stock appearance.

Furthermore, we have future plans for the void that Staszek speaks of, the reason we didn't want the unit down that low is for the sake of safety, and perhaps that officer that thought you were looking at your phone.

                  Thanks folks!
