    E30 dash care

    Hey all,

I picked up my dream 1990 BMW 325IS back in November. Car is in excellent shape and honestly I can't tell if the dash is original or was replaced at a dealer somewhere along the line.

Anyways in an effort to keep the dash crack free, what do you all recommend for care?

Car is always garaged and I just picked up a sunshade for when its out in the world.

I know not to use Armor All but not sure what products are best.

    Thanks!

Water and a rag, if you must put some sort of chemical protectant on it only use aerospace 303

would I lie to ya breh?

Its also anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, anti-parasitic and anti-fungal. You can eat off your dash after applying it.

I recommend vinylex. I apply probably once or twice a month. It's more greasy than 303, but I almost think that's a good thing for uv protection. Always use a sunshade. Imo, of you can press on your dash with your fingers around the cluster and glove box, and it feels supple, your dash is in good shape.

Don't forget the bucket of apples to keep the horse occupied while you "collect" your dash treatment.

This. I was a fan of Vinylex for many years but this is the better product.
