So the SI Batteries died in my cluster. Having a friend help me remove it, the side tab on my cluster has snapped off. Does this mean my cluster is now toast and I should just get a new one?
Broken Cluster Tab. Is it worth saving?

save it. Try gluing it or use plastic welding kit.Comment

Yea this was what I was going to do when mine broke, I still would have but I ended up getting it restored and they put in a new housing.
I used epoxy on a broken tab on my E46 HID headlight housings back in the day and the tabs stayed perfect even with all the stress of the temp changes, engine heat and movement of the car. If it can hold that it will hold a little tab on your cluster.Comment

Yeah. I had that issue before. I used gorilla glue and it work perfect for me. I see no reason to throw it away.Comment

One of mine broke too, I ended up super glueing it, then getting a cheap soldering iron from harbor freight, and melting the plastic as much as possible. Then got 2 part epoxy and covered the entire area just in case, held up perfect threw reinstalation of cluster.
