Well now I am really confused....

realoem.com shows the m3 with the same belt configuration as I have and the convertible with the same 2 recepticals I have on the LHS mounted in the middle I assume.

I think you might be right. For sure there are two separte ones, but I wonder if the mounting points are exactly the same.

RealOEM's graphic depictions are not always on. In fact sometimes parts have no resemblance to the one in the diagrams.

I need this same problem solved too! :)

I just relized I've made two big assumptions with the aftermarket recepticals, Will the bmw buckle fit in it? Will the receptical fit in the socket in the seat? Maybe I will enquire about getting some new webbing made and use my current recepticals...

Good point about real oem, X2theX3 your help would be greatly appreciated :)

If the rear belts are the issue, I have a set I would be willing to sell from my e30 m3. I will be leaving the country tomorrow though so unless one is prompt it will have to wait two weeks.

Where do yours mount at? That would help decide if anyone needs them or not :)

There are two female receptacles that mount with one bolt right the middle or at least on my car there is.

I can sew the straps for you. My parents own a shoe/lether/repair shop and fix seat belts all the time. Just send me the buckles and the size you need them and we can sew them right up. We might even be able to get the webbing for you, but I Would have to check. PM me for more info.

Not a solution, you missed the part where 325boy doesnt want to move the location of the belt bolt.

Yeh looking at real oem again it is the same two female receptors in the M3 as in the coupe just the mount points are different. I think what I will do is contact an afermarket seatbelt place and get them to make me some longer belts with my receptors.
