Seems everyone is not aware of how th bottom shocks function. The front lever is for tilting the front of the seat and does not involve the shocks. It's the back tilt lever, when pushed down, that allows the entire seat bottom to raise up and pivot forward, or to lower and pivot to the rear.

If you stand outside and make this adjustment the 350s should be fine. If you are sitting down then it will likely vary depending on your weight and whether you have to lift your butt for the seat to raise or whether you have to have your gf (or bf)!sit on your lap to get it to lower.

Some may care, others may not but id like to have some intel to share before I start shipping

the back lever pushed DOWN adjusts seat height. pulled UP reclines the upper.

the front lever pushed DOWN rocks the front of the seat up and down so that the whole seat tilts. this is only on the sport seats, like the thigh pad adjuster knob

Thanks brad. That's exactly right. Although I don't see a pic of the sport seat height adjustment the back release lever does the same thing on both sport and comfort seats.

I'm also glad to see it says to relieve the load on the (comfort) seat before raising or lowering. That tells me the factory shocks don't care how big the driver is and that the 350s should work fine in either the back or bottom

Before I share some notes let me just say...these are under high pressure and ARE DANGEROUS. You therefore buy, install and use them at your own risk. I use a pistol grip clamp to install them and remove the pads so the shocks sit in a groove. DO NOT use anything with a flat surface at they can easily slide off and DO DAMAGE.

In other words please be careful :)

                    Ok. Observations so far.

My comfort seat only had one shock for the back which I'm thinking is due to the comfort seat weighing less. My drivers right side hinge was a Hybrid meaning the top spindle was standard and took the push nut. The lower end required a fork.rather than cut the shock I ground the spindle in the hinge. DO NOT DO THIS. The spindle designed for the fork is too short to take the push nut so just cut the shock half way through the hole (of course you then own it forever)

                    My hybrid hinge

You can replace the bottom shocks by just removing the plastic hinge covers. While I suspect you can do the back adjuster as well if you make some kind of doohickey, it's easy enough to remove the seat back

The shocks are designed to lift the seat, not you so while it's easiest to adjust when you are sitting on it, when you push the release lever to raise/lower the seat bottom, grab the steering wheel and LIFT YOUR ASS. This protects your cogs as well as your shocks.

Install them piston down. My understanding is that while they are gas filled there may be a bit of lube in there to protect the seals.....so piston down.

Make sure your hinges are not full of crap and unless you live in a dust bowl I'd suggest some light lube. The freer they move the longer your shocks will last. Don't forget the pivot points for easing and lowering the seat. I've seen them pretty corroded.

That's it for now. Have to do a sport seat before I roll these out.

Did the sport seat and I'm satisfied that you will be as well. Make note that the black aluminum caps will not fit on these push nuts so if you want to reuse them try to save the push nut they come with, which WILL fit over the push nuts I'm supplying.

Each set of 4 (so enough to do one sport seat) includes 8 push nuts which ECS sells for $1.50@. All orders include 2 day flat rate priority post and PayPal fees (gentlemen don't charge PayPal)

                      1 set $80
                      2 sets $150

I have limited inventory at the moment since this was a trial run so I'm will pm people who have expressed interest first and give them a day or so to cough up before I move on.

The good news is that production runs seem to take 3-4 days and shipping literally took 18 hours from Europe so if I do run out it won't be for long.

.I'm a few push nuts shy so if you don't need them please let me know so I don't have to hold up any orders. Lastly, I'm not getting rich on these. If there's an issue I'll do my best to resolve it. Just be nice and have fun :)
