    Water in the trunk

Just bought my first e30 a week ago, a 318i 1991. I noticed water under my trunk's carpets on the passenger's side and under the jack near the back wing. The trunk seal looks good and I don't have a sunroof. Any ideas of where the water could come from? Thanks!

It's also wise to pull up your trunk seal and see if you have any rust holes under it.
