Most upholstery shops can/will dye carpet. Might want to look into that. Then it would be warranted and you wouldn't have to mess with it.Leave a comment:

I used this product and it worked well. I didn't use a stiff brissle brush and wish I did. If you don't use the brush, the carpet dries stiff. It's basically just a spay paint that you spray onto the carpet.Leave a comment:

check SEM products. Its a spray on dye, best to remove all the trim. Also found that going over with a stiff brissle brush keeps the caret soft and works the dye in. MIne has held up for over 5 years now.Leave a comment:

carpet dye
I would like to change the color of my tan carpet to charcoal. Whats the best way to do this besides buying a new carpet set. I have looked around online and can't find anything that I could just brush in, is there such a thing? Does spray painting it with vinyl paint work? How well does it hold up? Thanks
