Its so easy to take the steering wheel off, just do it that way. Just make sure you put it back on in the same spot. :)

I like that look, makes me want to finish my cluster project. Looks great man!

Nando, I've been thinking about getting these for a while, what's your opinion of them? I thought about getting the brushed aluminum ones, since I'm not a huge fan of chrome, but I'm not totally sure. Are the chrome ones pretty "blingy", or do they look at home?

it looks good! I doubt anyone who doesn't know E30s would even notice them. it's not like chrome trim around your fender lips. ;)

Nando [always want to say Lando :)], thanks for posting about these. I just bought a snap in set yesterday from vendor aphase-auto. They should look sharp through the newly polished plastic cover.

              They look fantastic! Good job!

My fuel and temp gauges have been dancing to their own beat since last summer and I'm afraid of scratching the lens when I do the "tap tap" thing.

Now I'm motiviated to fix and upgrade at the same time.

              Thanks!

How about a picture when you get the cluster back in the car?

Hey Nando and Dex, so are these actually aluminium?

This is the listing on ebay as Nando's post had expire.

Reason I'm asking is that the ones I bought they claim it was metal and they are plastic chrome. I built my share of models to know what chrome plastic is.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR THEY SHIP PLASTIC CHROME WILL NOT REFUND MY MONEY!!! I found another forum member who is having the same problem with them.

Mine are also metal, although I think I got them from a different vendor.
