    I finally have a matching interior(well almost)

I Finally got some black leather front sports seats for my 88 325is at the junkyard. A while back I purchased the real deal front panels, and dyed everything else. The rear panels and rear seat and rear deck have help up find but I never did the front seats and have either had the orig. red leather sports seats in it or a gray cloth sport drivers seat and red passenger seat(no ac and Cloth is cooler to sit on). The seats came out of a car With dark tint all around. I actually over looked them and then Kevin Chinn met me at the junkyard and called me over so I got them instaid of an m30 afm I was about to pull.
The Driver's upper bolster was ripped but Kevin said it was only the seam and to bring the seats to him and he'd fix them So I got him to Resitch the upper far left drivers bolster and repipe it. Plus I had him Re-pipe the lower bolster on that same side and he cut me a brand new leather side piece by the adjustment levers as mine was torn. But in repaiment I yanked a 325i block, tranny and other tidbits for him from his parts car. Well After I got the seats I got thinking and figured I'd rather have the real deal rear seat instead of my dyed Red leather one So I stopped by the junkyard on the way to get the seats restiched and grabbed the Back of the leather rear seat out of the same car the bottom was gone but ohwell. Plus it's the armrest rear seat so I figured I'd make use of the opening from the trunk to the cabin and mounted my 8 inch Kenwood sub behind the armrest. Now to the pics

But while I was at the yard I went ahead and grabbed the m30 afm anyways, it won't be going into my car but will be for my m30 Engine conversion. In total I paid $60 for the 2
front seats, the rear seat back and an M30 afm with airbox 8)
Now just to get my Ac working and find some correct Grey carpet and not my dyed to black Tan carpet that is showing Tan in the high wear spots.

I can't believe I over looked them at first, Both My friend and I didn't notice them even though we looked at the car. But he was hunting for VW parts and I was in M30 parts watch as I didn't have any e30 parts on my list I wanted. It was a pure Oven inside the car pulling the seats though.

damn, less than $60 for two nice leather sport seats? that's a steal. they look great, make sure you clean them and condition them to keep them that way. :)

The front seats were $22 each rear back was $6 and the M30 afm and airbox was $8 plus I got some more parts at the junkyard also in all I spent about $120 over 2 weeks at the yard.

I already cleaned them prior to installing but will buy some conditioner soon. I'm thinking also of maybe having my windows tinted.

You should mount a piece of mdf board to cover your ski boot and then cut a hole out of that to mount your subwoofer. It will sound much better even if your sub isn't meant for infinite baffle.

The goal of an infinite baffle set up is to isolate the two sound waves coming from the front of the speaker and the rear of the speaker.

Thanks for the Tip I'll try that some day with the DDF. Right now it sounds great except for I need a crossover as the sub is putting out to many high Frequencies. Other than that it's nice to sit back there and get a back massage

Nope not a free air sub, but it sounds just as good as it did when mounted in it's tiny box. I may eventualy purchased a free air sub or will just put mdf or something around the opening.
