looks nice in the car. :D

are they bolted down so you cannot adjust them? (do they slide forward/back, or are they stuck in your leg/height position)

They are bolted down through the proper mounting holes on the seat slider brackets. The seat still has full funtionality and range of movement in all adjustments.

How tall are you Jordan? Looks like it works out to give you a bit more headroom, yes?

And to the thigh extentions go out further than a stock sport seat?

I'm 6'1" - and almost hitting my head on the roof....urrrr

Dam, I didn't expect you to get vaders...last shot of your car I saw looked like you even removed a gas tank to save weight... ???

Very fucking trick. I may ditch my brackets and just dill to save some weight.

How did you do the 4th inner rear bolt on the change in floorpan height area?

Your whole car looks much more modern than any E30 with out it looking stupid (ie: E46 kit). I would totaly rock those seats in my E30, although im enjoying my recaros.

                      I bombed Korea every night.

5'9 220lbs, and yes it definately sits you ALOT lower in the car. I just got back from attacking some corners at speed. It makes such a huge difference when you aren't thrown around in your seat in corners.

Yeah, the thigh extention goes out pretty far. I *think* the pictures I showed of them installed in the car show them all the way extended. The feel best for me about 1/2in retracted from full extention.

I removed the fuel tank to flush it out, strip the cosmoline off, polish the black gloss paint its finished in, then give it a coat of wax 8)

Only the 2 front bolts, and the 1 outside rear bolt are in right now. The seats do not budge so I'm not sure I will put the last one in. I don't think drilling through the floor pan will work for that bolt, given the slope and what is under the car in that spot. I won't know until I take a better look under the car.

I'd like to just bolt the e36 sport seats I'm getting rather than mess with brackets... but I'd be worried that the one rear bolt holding it down would possibly break in a collision. Jordan, you think there is any way that the second bolt in the rear could be used as well?

The second bolt could be used for sure, I'm not sure what is under it tho. Hence why I haven't put it in yet. I'm not going to blindly drill into the floor not knowing what I may drill into. Its just too friggin hot today to sit out in the sun and jack the car up. I musta lost 10lbs of sweat just installing them like i did. Its 95º here right now, was 102º earlier.
