I'm in the club now!
I need a recline knob and obviously need to get them recovered. They'll be a long term project.

Haha, I'm soo excited. I've wanted a set for so long. I am absolutely amazed how comfortable they are for being nearly 24 years old. Is there anything I should look out for on them? Would you happen to have a recline knob, a2coupe? That's the only thing I think I'm missing.
Did these come heated? I noticed cut wires on one of them, one set went to the upper portion and one for the lower portion...that's the only thing I can imagine they would be for, as there is only the tilt, recline, and sliding adjustments and no motors.
Also, they're a little loose (back and forth play) due to the tilt-forward mechanism. Does the knob or the catch get worn out and cause this play?
Anyone know that website that has all sorts of Recaro parts for sale?
I think that was enough questions for one post, haha.

Answered my own question with a trip to the first page of this thread. Capital Seating.
I'm guessing this is exactly what I need to get rid of the play I was talking about in my previous post:

Anyone know that website that has all sorts of Recaro parts for sale? - We carry everything from foam and diaphragms (the lower butt support under the foam) to covers and knobs. The new site will be up soon with everything listed

We deal with capitol regularly and actually carry most of the stuff they have. Dont know if that kit will help you much but its worth a try.Comment

Awesome, thanks man. These will be on the back burner for a while, but I'll definitely be ordering diaphragms, bolsters, and jackets at some point...probably that hinge service kit also, couldn't hurt.
