haha I don't think the option to have it stay cool would be in there. But I have thought of being able to have a little change or cell or something holder back behind the cup holders. Once I get sometime I will start working on it.
I will update everyone as I make progresswww.classicdaily.net

Here's a sample of the one I made which I'm going to start producing. Each one is made by hand and sewn and wrapped by me so I had to modify the original design to minimize labor
This is the final product

showing it with car in reverse with no clearance issues. My bushings aren't worn so not sure if there will be issues if there is excessive play in your shifter.
This was the sample I made which is why it looks loose and and has seams on the corners it was to mock it up in the car but the final product looks like the first picture now.

The one in the picture is wrapped but hasn't been glued down since it is over my master template which I'm going to use as a jig to prefab the panels for the rest.
The front corners are rounded and the side wrap material will end up being one piece rather than 3 sewn together.

EDIT: Just saw the for sale adComment

Sorry I haven't provided an update as I was busy launching a new website. If the other poster in this thread has somewhat given up on this project I am interested in seeing what I can come up with. I would make a mold and then vacuum form the plastic and back will with foam. I have been thinking about it for a couple weeks now and I believe it is very doable. I am a school teacher and the year gets out next week so I will see what I can come up with after that.
The computer model for the cupholder will be completed soon and a rapid prototype made for me to test fit.
Once that is done I will either have the unit vacuum formed or injection molded for production.
I'll post up images once I approve the final design.

You should patent it and then never do anything with it so nobody can ever have them..I'm acutally working on a patent for one right now my best friends dad is patent attorney and runs a buisness in my town on main street and said he would patent one if I draw it up on auto cad working on the drawings now working on the ones for a arm rest too will post some pictures soon
By the way SFGadgetguy is the man. He says he's going to do something and shortly after it gets done. Good job sir. Your product looks really nice and classy too.Comment
