If someone with one of these units is willing to send it to me I can duplicate it and have them made.

That would be a lot easier and cheaper than having my designer model one.

My 1989 e30 s52 Touring... this is Betty

    My 1989 325i vert (sold)...this is Nina

My 1991 M5 (sold)... this is Veronica

Well I would love to have some front cupholders too! Now your 'grail quest' is to find a unit I can use for a mold

I'd been interested in one too. With the cig lighter in the upper left.

I'd like the cig lighter in the upper left also. I was just about to comment on that. In its original location id imagine it'd be pretty useless in any activity that required the car actually driving.

this is one of hte better cup holder ideas, but it have alot of limitations. You most likely would only want short thermist or cups in there. Anything big would tip over, on top of that, it might interfere with the shifter if you ahve a huge mug in there. The ultimate cup holder that binds to the carpet is still the best cup holder, it doesnt get in the way, and it really holds the drink from spilling.

I'm not familiar with the "ultimate cup holder" pics please.

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

Those ultimate cup holders seem like they would hit my foot, I sit close. I want to see if someone around me has one that I can check out though.

But I want the one thats posted in this thread, even if I don't use it (I won't). I will have a place for my cell phone and it cleans up that ashtray area. It would be nice if made out of ABS. I usually bring a bottle of water with me and I just wedge it in between the seat and door. A 1 liter soda of Gatorade if I am taking a trip and I am set, nothing to spill unless I am trying to drive and drink.

The ultimate cup holder is mounted on the passenger side of the console in the E30.
