the harnesses i have coming from those switches are white/green, white/yellow, red/brown, and brown.

if the up makes it go down, then it's wired backwards.

guess they could be the same harness connecter as mine, and so long as they're not one-touch they'd work.

I had something like black, brown, green blue, and red coming from my switches.

right, and now I see that you specified earlier that they weren't one-touch.

        whoops. my bad.

alright, so for one touch, you need the non-prong style, white bottomed, switches and matching one-touch harnesses?

Is one-touch function part of the switch or is there another item that is needed to make them one touch?
Anyone have a one touch sunroof?

I wish. That would be awesome.

I'm tempted to pick up another switch to do the sunroof

                you're wrong

edit: if you want the one touch, you need to use the e36 on touch control box and figure out the wiring for it. It's under the dash and I believe that it controls multiple functions
Put your sunroof switch in the center console and use an e36 switch, that way you can be the shit :)
oh, and only one style switch bezel-thing will fit right in an e30. 4 door rear or sunroof

wiring is actually very simple.. run some speaker wire down the a-pillar and into the center console
...I did it to my white car :)

I dont want the one-touch. I just want the newer style switches. So all I gotta do is wire up the up and down feature.

The sunroof idea is actually a really good idea.. Ive been thinking about it but it seems like too much work.

Hmm.. They're probably cheap to replace anyway. Could just break the ones I have now, and buy some new ones to replace them. How hard are the a-pillars to put back on?

It was the B-Pillar cover IIRC, I can remove my A-Pillar covers without any fuss at all
