    Cow catcher fogs...

My cow catcher fogs are cracked and faded... they look like shit. I have dug as deep as I can trying to find new ones, tried the Saab 9000 ones I saw someone talk about (they do not fit), and the M3 ones do not either. Neither are close enough to modify them and have it work well. The lights seem to be shared with the E24 635csi under pn 63 12 1 468 159 and hella pn 1NB 960 501-00.

So, with no options seemingly available, what have you guys done in this situation? I tried to polish them and it barely helped. Deeply pitted etc. Is it possible to have them refinished? Another pn I dont know about? Thanks!

Could you mold some acrylic lenses to match the originals? Unfortunately they would be clear as opposed to fluted glass.

Quick google shows Hella 1NB004450-16 might work, but it seems those will also be hard to find.

As an aside: I personally don't run fogs in my cowcatcher, as to me the rectangle lights visually clash with the round headlights. I do have a set of blockoff plates to install over the openings, but I haven't done that yet.

If you want to freshen them up without tossing them, you could polish the glass OR the easy way out...spray clear gloss. The clear will fill the pits and make it look new. I've done this before on a set of sandblasted headlights and they came out great.

Thanks for the advice. I'll hit them with some 2k clear and see, it almost looks like the inside of them is discolored as well though. Annoying as hell.
