Simple question; has anyone retrofitted a modification to an E30 that makes the 3rd light go blink-blink-blinkblinkblink when you're first applying brakes to grab the attention of the car behind you and then solid until you release with a delay until it blinks again next brake application? It's one of the few modern car features I like as I find it's quite good at dispelling highway hypnosis when I see it on other vehicles and I really would rather not get my E30 rear-ended by someone not paying full attention, so everything helps. Any tips on how I'd go about doing this?

Ahh, gotcha, I didn't necessarily want to switch to LEDs for tails/brakes because of how finicky they can sometimes be but I'll consider it. PO already did rear plate lights and dome lights. Is there a factory delay module out there that could be wired up? I have had poor experiences with amazonium electronics.i'm in love with german cars // gliding past me on the autobahn
