Help with H1 Ellipsoid Install - wiring - thanks.

Well I received some euro smileys in the mail couple days ago, so today I decided to put them in.

I removed the grille, sealed beams, re-routed the sidemarker light wiring over to the headlight area (note that I have euro trim, so I dont need to splice in to make two ends).

Well then i got stuck with the wiring part.

I searched, and found http://www.archercc.net/tech/lighting.htm but still lost because i don't have the connectors that are pictured on the site :?

First, I seem to have 3 extra blue plugs, and 2 black plugs that i dont know where it connects to.

Should I just rip off each plugs and wire it in from the existing wiring in the car?

    TIA.

        UPDATE:

        I finished installing the light.

It took me good 3 hours to do. :(

Well I didn't know that you don't need any wiring to get the smileys work, and that basically it's plug-n-play once you change the plugs.
I was confused because there were so much wirings included, and I assumed that I'd need to use them.

David (euro3) thanks for the lights. Everything seem good. 1 H1 bulb was dead (i thought i wired the lights wrong, and i was about to pull my hairs out haha).

        Follow-up-question:

Anyone have the part # for the adjusters, and the black plastic socket that the adjuster goes in to?
Or anyone have some lying around? Thanks :)

I think you just splice a jumper on the relay..

least that's what i've read. I may be confused.

They should all 4 come on when you turn on the brights. Isn't it that way from the factory??

                      no it wont.

Becuase when you install the ellips, you lose the highbeam wiring that goes into the low beams. You gotta do somethign with the relays. I haven't done that yet. I have other issues first

Anyways, how bout someone answering my questions?? haha thanks :D

no, because sealed beams have dual fillament low beams, ellipsoids do not, thus the different wiring. it's as easy as stuffing a wire under the relays to connect the right pins though.

I didn't like the idea of jumping the relays together, so here's an impromptu schematic of how I converted from US sealed beams to US ellipsoids. Either method should work.
