    Just ordered new fog lenses...

Ordered new fog lenses from www.bmwlight.com

Anyone ever bought and installed these before? If so, are you happy with them? And how do you install them?

I figure $42.99 shipped is MUCH cheaper than 2 brand new fogs.

                euro ellip lens. sort of.

Euro ellips actually make use of those little cuts on the lens to direct the light path...those acrylic lenses are the same for L & R.....i think you get the picture.

Installation is easy. Use a heatgun, some thick leather gloves, and a screwdriver. Just don't melt the housing.

I have used the fogs / low / high Mr Lens lens. THey look like plastic (cause they are), berak just as easy (cheap plastic) but a lot cheaper than new parts

good luck, personally I'd never put cheap plastic lenses on my car. I had some high beam lenses but I sold them, even the Depo replicas are better quality. also make sure you get some lense protection on them or you'll be buying them again later.

I got mine a long time ago. They look fine, but I haven't put them on my fogs yet. I am holding out till I get LaminX for them, because I know they would pit badly without.

Opt for the 40mil lamin-x for the fogs.

Got the lenses yesterday, they don't look that bad to me. I am going to order the Lamin-X for them in a few minutes. Ken, why do you reccomend the thicker for the fogs? They don't seem to offer it in the yellow.

The fogs will take a lot more of a beating because they're so low, thus you're going to want to have a lot of protection. I'm not sure if they offer the thicker stuff in yellow or not. I'd call and ask.
