You can buy the lights fro $300 each. You would just have to mount them which should not be hard.

It's the custom brackets which retain the ability to aim that is the hard part. These are not plug-and-play units for the E30 headlight brackets.

Looks like you use the stock ellipsoid buckest for the adjustment and then just have a plate to adapt to the light. That adaptor plate looks pretty complicated.

Simple but not so simple. But yes, there is a lot involved in the current design.

As I hinted before, I am looking at changes to the entire system that will result in a better, easier, and even more effective final result.

Saw a trash or street sweeper truck with some 7" led headlights and they were super brite. These things will only cost $100 a pair in 5 years. Back in 03 i paid nearly a grand for my hella based hids.

I did pay a grand for my TL bixenons years ago, and that's with me doing all of the labor myself and making my own harness.
