front running light does not work, but the bulb still works as a blinker

if i turn my lights on, the running light (blinker) doesnt turn on. however if i hit the blinkers, it flashes normally. so i know its getting power, but i guess its not getting power running l

also, my taillight went out. its not the bulbs, i tried swapping them around. no dice. i bought new bulbs for nothing..

both are on the drivers side.

i also found 2 fuses that were out, 7.5 amp ones, but if it were a fuse wouldnt both sides be out? kind of at a loss. i'd go get the fuses but im here at work. i tried grabbing fuses from my rx8, but it uses the newer smaller style fuse. :/

its raining, i need my lights and i dont want to be pulled over. hlap plx.

It's a dual filament bulb. One of the filaments is used for the running light, one is used for the flashy bit. Either one of the two filaments burned, or greg is right and a blinker fuse burned.

neither filament is blown. i replaced the bulb. and swapped the bulbs to the other sides.

if each side has its own fuse, accident/greg is right.

accident is right. safety thing, unless you are really unlucky and blew both fuses.

if you are running the stock fuses you might not be able to see that one blew cuz it could have just been a hairline break. goodluck!

it was blown. the other fuse that was blown was for my gauge cluster. it took me about 10 miles of driving to realize my tach was working again. haha.

                all good now. thanks all.
