Here are a couple pics of my car with smoked sidemarkers:

And don't do it the ghetto way by just spaypainting them. it will look like shit and might start to flake off in the future. I am using the stock sidemarker housings. I just removed the stock lense, and replaced it with smoked plexiglass with a textured plastic material behind. So, my sidemarker still accually work, unlike a lot of people that made their own smoked sidemarkers. I am very happy with the results.

You can get it at any plastics store. I got mine from Tap Plastics. They will cut it to your specifications for you. Mine ended up being the perfect size, they fit snugly in the housing without any extra cutting/sanding. It ended up being $1 each (the minimum they will charge for a piece of plastic).

I painted mine black with SEM trim paint and removed the bulbs, going to pick up some Euro trim very soon though. IMHO other than painting them black, Lamin-X is the best option.

lamin-x film. it's a little darker than I wanted but it's grown on me. I haven't bothered to do the sidemarkers yet, I'm unsure if I want to keep them or go with euro trim.

Euro trim is much better. Each side piece (4 total) should cost just around $100-110.

It was just called smoked when I bought it 2 years ago, whatever the darker one is now.

MHW smoked parking lights from abrahams. i removed the amber insert and replaced the bulbs with amber ones instead... also from this angle at night, the inside of the park light housings are picking up lights from behind the camera, so the bright spots aren't normally there. I just dont have another/better pic of them
