    Turn signal ideas?

So ive been seeing a few early models who apply the rubber bumper trim from the rear to the front. This obviously gives it a more simplistic and clean look. The only down side to it is in the process you are deleting the turn signals.
I feel like this look would be cool on a vert, but my issue is i dont want to run into any problems about having no turn signals.

Does anyone have any ideas to get around this or have through of cool places to relocate the turn signals?

I know i saw a R3v post a couple years back who did this and modified his headlights by putting LEDs in his headlight housing and used that as turn signals. Its was pretty sweet. Wish i remember where the post was.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Tony

    EDIT:
    I found the thread!
This is an example of a good turn signal relocation.
There is a quick write up on how to make them on the 2nd page too.

I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

Holy shit that is sexy. I think it may be too modern for the e30. I saw some guy relocate his to a LED strip inside the grills though. Can't remember what thread it was but i think it was for a track car.

How visible are the signals when the headlights are on?

^Im not quite sure, but i would assume so. Regardless i think its better than not having any headlights at all like some of the other people do when they do the trim swap.

^ I was thinking of doing the same. I have a set on the way. How exactly does it function? And how did you wire it?

I like the led look in the first post. I doubt you can see the leds when the headlights are on, however.

I was just thinking about this at work today because im thinking about running no bumpers untill I can get the euro set up I want. I think you would have to use the oven method to get the lens loose so you could make a reflective partition out of some plastic painted in high heat silver engine paint. If you used two LEDs spaced apart a little bit, that should give you enough luminosity when the head lights are on.

Im seriously just thinking about using the city lights some how. Im not every good with electrical. 1 im slighly colorblind and 2, i somehow always blow at least one fuse.

I might need some guidance on this one.

ran wires from the front turn signal. This way they say on like parking light but also flash like turn signals. Installed orange bulbs. Ive been rocking this style since Feb and havnt been pulled over yet.

Anyone have a way to bypass the constant wire? Im runing my euro bumper with just the blinker wire & it blinks quickly indicated a broken bulb.
