    Aiming fogs

Since I changed to HIDs & new fogs it seems I do not see any light from the fogs. (from the driver seat)

It may be because the HIDs give great dispersion and are so bright or it may be due to misaimed fogs. Is there a rule of thumb to the fogs position like the way we aim our mains?

    Thanks

they are supposed to be aimed straight forward.. but I don't think you would have to adjust them unless something was messed up. your HIDs are probably just much brighter than the fogs (they arent' supposed to illuminate stuff way in front of you anyway, the whole point is to illuminate the ground directly in front of you since any light that is aimed too far forward will just reflect off the fog).

They are seemingly directly forward. I see only the HIDs light. In contrast looking at the car from outside they look dim and yellow. Does anyone make something like an Osram Silverstar in an H3?

Yes, it's what I have. They are terribly bright with the Osrams. And you can adjust them, I did mine after I put in my new fogs and bulbs. As to how, I just got mine to where they were level to each other, and where I could see them doing some good. I know that sounds stupid, but it's kinda how I did it. ;)
