    WHats the best HID Kelvin?

I was going to buy the 8000k Hid from PLasma garage. But what i am looking for is exactly what most Acura TL's have a ture Hyperwhite HID with Blue tint. That what i am looking i want to avoid any other color of the rainbow.. I want Blue..But also i want the best light distance output first..
WHat Kelvin are you using and whats your input.

Mods to come:IS LIP RyanG(scored) MTechII Rear (SCORED) Shadowline (soon) Tint (soon) Umnitza HLConv w/HID ( wow am i broke yet)

and it depends what projector you're using.

The longer the ellipsoide, the deeper blue they look.

4300-6000 would be a good K for ya. you don't really want to go above 6000K and most serious people (ie not fuh raze people) wouldn't go above 5000.

I'll chime back in :) I do love the 6k on my car. It's a big improvement compared to those damn sealed beams.

4300k is going to give the highest output but the european ellipsoids stick to a focused beam so there isnt much color no matter what you get. 6000 its too into the UV so 30% of the light generated isnt visible and is blocked by the quartz.
                  Im now E30less.

                    Anything higher is a waste.

                      Quoted for truth.

Anything higher and you just have reduced output. The color output will be different but thats just 'bling'.

And FYI, TL's don't use hyperwhite tinted shit, they use a regular OEM manufacturer HID bulb and ballast.

8,000K are like purple and the light output isn't much better than normal halogen bulbs.
