Euro sealed beams headlights to smilies?

    Hello to everyone reading.
I want to upgrade my headlights from this:

    to this:

One of the pairs have a broken supporting frame.
What do I need in order to install them to my E30?
Can I use the existing supporting frames on my car?
    What about the electrical connections?
    Thanks for any replies!

Glue the frame together, once it's on the car it'll be fine.

You need Euro Pigtal connectors to wire these in, but not neccessary.

Well,I finally got my hands on some OEM Bosch euro smileys headlights
and went on to clean the low beams successfully.
      The photo talks by itself.
The problem now is how the hell I can clean the inside of high beams?
There s a film of dust stuck in the inside of the lenses of both.
Is there any other way than baking them or cutting the glue of the lens?
I d be grateful is someone could help me on this one.
      N.

PS. Btw,I payed only 52$ for these.Only one plastic bracket broken out of the six.
I ll use a metal tab screwed onto the plastic frame to restore it and be safe.

Yes, plastic foam tipped swabs...about 4-6" long dipped in glass cleaner works well. These swabs commonly used for cleaning optics, heads and such.

Well I tried again and again and couldn't clean the mirror and the lens.I finally used water 2-3 times and now I ve placed the headlight upside down under a spot light (which gets quote warm) in order to let it dry overnight.
I get the feeling that this was not a good idea though...
            Anyone else done this?

I have had a light get water in it before. I ussed a space heater to dry it out. As long as the air can get out it should dry out.

If it's a bosch lamp, green backed, then you can heat the glass up and take it off easily.
If it's dark maroon backed, be careful, as Bosch used diffeent glue on these.

If it's a Hella, forget it, i've broken loads of glass in the past on those.

                    Installed finally!
The process took me and a friend nearly three hours of very very careful work and we didn't even blow a fuse in the process.
                    Photos coming soon too.

What I wanted to say most is that the installation is really easy even for a total noob as far as electrical work is concerned and believe me it was far far easier than what I thought after reading tutorials and guides on the net.

Is this used to clean the lens inside the headlight?
Could you please explain exactly what is needed to do this?

                            Just a photo...

The installation has survived about a month of frequent rains. The smilies had some moisture at one point but I figure this was cos I didnt bother changing the Gasket ring after cleaning them.It s on my to do list.
