Angel Eyes

Hello! My name is Will, I'm 16, and i just recently acquired a 1987 325is as my first car. I'm looking to make my new car look amazing during the day and the night. My first ideas were angel eyes, but I'm not exactly for sure what route to go. I've seen some where I would buy a full headlamp assembly and some that are just the angel eye itself. I have also seen some that are color changing diodes by pressing a remote. If anyone has any input to what works best I'd love to hear it! Thanks!

The whole point in angel eyes is to make headlights that aren't round, look round. e30s already have round headlights. So, there is no point.

Don't do it and your 21 year old self will hopefully think you.

Congrats on getting an awesome first car, my E30 was mine as well.

I'm going to second everyone's opinion, the angel eyes don't really look good on E30s. If I were you, I would try and pick up a set of either smiley's or US ellipsoids. First off, :welcome: to the forum! Secondly, it's your car do what you want. If you are looking for others approval on mods instead of going with what you like, then how does that car become your own personal expression of what you like? I agree with you to a point. The line needs to be drawn when it comes to mods that will annoy other motorists. An led light bar and fart can exhaust are just 2 examples that are never ok.

As to making a case for angel eyes, they just look stupid on an e30. A few years ago, one member stated they make the car look like it just finished getting a good hard (dry) buttfucking and is staring ahead trying to pretend it didnt happen.

Every e30 i have ever bought with depo's has had them taken off immediately and chucked square into the trash. I wouldnt even sell them to another enthusiast because one day i might pass them and have to lay my eyes on the stupid cheap crap.
