Im in the (year long, because i'm horribly lazy) process of retrofitting larger projectors with an HID kit into a set of late model fogs. I'm using 3/16 foamcoare to mockup the extended housing, as well as fabricating a mount for the projector to sit in. I'm currently in a rut, since I don't know what to use for final assembly. I've considered using 1/8 or 1/4 acrylic or polycarbonate to build the final housing out of, but I was curious if anybody else on r3v had done something similar and had advice to offer on the matter.the black and red wires coming off of the projector are for a hi/lo beam flap, and i think im going to incorporate a hi beam/hi fog, lo beam/lo fog set up for the country road twisties.
