I just bought a set of used US Hella Elipsoids, and all of the adjustment hardware was terrible.
I was able to free them up with some "PB Blaster", but i'm not going to put the lights in my car with such poor adjusters. Especially since I have a Bi-Xenon retrofit planned for these.
I am aware that adjustment screws and nuts are available new. But they're listing for $15usd a piece, which adds up quick when you need a complete set.
Has anyone tried to make their own adjusters? I've got one side completely apart, and it doesn't look difficult.
I can get similar sized stainless hardware locally, I am going to explore making some myself.
The only part I haven't figured out yet, is how to allow the bolt to pivot at one end, which was achieved by the ball and socket on the original adjusters.
