    Homemade US Hella Elipsoid Adjusters?

I just bought a set of used US Hella Elipsoids, and all of the adjustment hardware was terrible.

I was able to free them up with some "PB Blaster", but i'm not going to put the lights in my car with such poor adjusters. Especially since I have a Bi-Xenon retrofit planned for these.

I am aware that adjustment screws and nuts are available new. But they're listing for $15usd a piece, which adds up quick when you need a complete set.

Has anyone tried to make their own adjusters? I've got one side completely apart, and it doesn't look difficult.

I can get similar sized stainless hardware locally, I am going to explore making some myself.

The only part I haven't figured out yet, is how to allow the bolt to pivot at one end, which was achieved by the ball and socket on the original adjusters.

You could machine your own balls. What about the plastic bits that come with it?

My adjuster ends were broken off so I just get 2 nuts per and screwed them on and jammed them together plus you can dip them in plastidip to make a better knob.

Maybe acorn nuts? It'll be round on the end, allowing movement.
