    Help w/ HID's and Euro Smiley's

    Hey guys,

    Need some help!

I'm not sure how to put these parts together yet - I have a rough idea, but I need some clarification. Here's a diagram I made - these are the only parts I have:

Connections (please correct me if I'm wrong):

    - A + B connect to the wires in the Euro ellipsoid cap (red is the ground)

    - C + D connect to 1 + 2

    Here's where I'm confused!

    - Does 3 connect to the car's wiring harness (the plug that normally goes into the back of the US ellipsoid) ?

    - Where does E connect?

A and B just connect to the pos and neg of the headlight connection. The rest just plugs in. You can only plug them into one place. You can also plug your 9006 connector directly into number 3 if you have us ellips.

But E does not plug into 3, does it... ?

I'm assuming the car's wiring harness plug goes into the ballast at 3.

      So where does E connect?

      Thanks!

You discard e if you use the factory connector. 3 is the pos/neg in and 1/2 is pos/neg out to the bulb. Its pretty simple.

          So I can pull A / B / E out and throw 'em away?

Then the factory connector plugs into 3?

Is that it? So easy??! :D

It looks like e goes to 3 and d to 2 and c to 1. A is hot and B is ground, and they go to your factory harness.

I'm now thoroughly confused. Too many edits.

Can you spell this out in a most basic fashion :D ?

                Ok, so if I have US Ellipsoids already, I can throw A + B + E away.

Then plug the car's harness into 3, and the rest is simple.

                Is that all correct?

Now how do I hook up A + B to a sealed beam car?

Yellow is your hot wire on you factory harness and that goes to "A".
Brown is ground that goes to "B".
the white with purple tracer on the factory harness just leave it disconnected.

And to get the highs to work with the lows, you'll have to do the relay mod in this thread http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...408#post736408
