    Problems wiring euro ellips

    I am having some trouble wiring my ellips. both the high beams and low beams work when i turn on the high beams but without the high beams on the low beams dont work. please help. hah. thanks.

    it sounds like you hooked up the wrong wire on the low beams. Leave the white with blue tracer unhooked on the low.

      ok i will try that. i might be back on here if it doesnt. so you keep the wire just unhooked?? and is it the blue and white wire on the low beam??

        yes, leave the white with blue unhooked (can cap it off if you want to)and the yellow with blue is the hot and brown is the ground. You have to do the relay jump for the lows to stay on with the highs. http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=59735 thumb through this thread and i believe it's in there.

              let me guess

              let me guess, you had the original dual beam light?

              if so, you need to solder the relay together. Or else it wont turn on. Check on the forum on wiring diagram, I forgotten which one it was, since its been a long while.
