New smiley reflectors

Where to find these? mine have gotten really dull, Ive done some researching, some guy on bfc got them from the stealer, i thought the dealer couldn't get euro parts. Whos got em?

Im trying to stay away from the dealer.

The chrome reflector is one piece with the glass lens from the dealer. Some can some cant get them in. All depends on your connections and who knows who in Germany, or Canadialand.

Be better off pulling them apart, smoking them, selling them, and buying a brand new Hella set imho.

The chrome reflector, not the chrome shroud that you actually see behind the glass, is available separately from the dealer. Not cheap, about $90 a piece or somewhere around there, but cheaper than new ellipsoids.

Why would you need new reflectors? How do they go bad? I took my US projectors apart to smoke them and cleaned the reflectors with alcohol because they were dusty but they look good as new.

They can get pitted and faded just from the heat of the bulb. The chrome can also crack and flake a bit. It doesn't take much to kill output.

Those wouldn't be 'smiley' then, those would be euro ellipsoidal. To be technical. And even still, you have to know someone to order the euro bits wise guy.

I just got new reflectors from my dealer, who ordered them from germeny, they were about $88, they had to look deep though. At first she said she couldn't get them, but she looked some more and found out they were available.

No, its not the same, not interchangeable without major modifications to the housing.

with the chrome on it where the bulb is? That's the same part, or at least I hope it is because that's what I ordered.
