    E36 Fogs on E30?

Well, with the BMP front end gone, I am left with no fog lights. Aside from getting a bracket to hold them in place, are the dimensions the same or no? It appeared that the E36 fogs were wider and shorter. Am I right? (I am only asking because my wiring now has the e36 connector spliced)
I retired my E30 for now...

E36 fogs are an inferior design...

They are in no, shape, way, or form even close to the same. Plus the fact that E30 fogs are superior because they are ellipsoidal design and E36 fogs aren't.
