If you do something after Jan 1 I'd probably jump in then. I need something to balance out the (planned) M30!

Luke, have you looked into a oil filled electric heater? They need time to warm an area, but they work pretty well and don't emit any odor. I have 2 in my garage, it drops down in the 'teens at night here, and they keep it pretty nice. I don't know how large your area is though.

Would it be possible to post faceplate dimensions? 2. What woofers work best with this design? and 3. Does the woofer sit inside the faceplate, mounted into the box itself Or is it mounted onto the faceplate? If you could help me out before i build 48 and a half of these until i get it right that would be great.

    Thanks, Jesse
You should should just buy one from Luke. You'll get a better product, cheaper (unless you get it right the first time) and he's local, so you don't have to pay shipping.

A better woofer AND an amp for under $200?

No, I don't think so. Decent woofers (cast frame, 2.5" VC, double spider, woven tinsel leads, etc) are generally about $175 by themselves.

Back in the 80's, a woofer like that was $250, minimum!

In for next batch for sure. Any pictures of the installed deluxe box with the seat in place, ie how it looks through the seat w/o the armrest?

100% sealed into the cabin: no trunk rattles, far better SQ, far better efficiency.

Smaller, cheaper, lighter...all part of the plan.

LOL... Yeah, sometimes USPS can ship pretty fast. Fastest ship time I've had was some computer parts from Texas; took 4 days!

I think I got lucky with only one gouge missing from the sub box.
Fortunately it's on the bottom and will never be seen, and the rest of the box is intact.

Luke, have you considered throwing a layer of bubble wrap in the box? I would have gladly paid extra for some more protection.

The deluxe box came out very nice btw. Excellent work  I have an SSA DCON sub and Sundown SAX 100.4 amp on the way, can't wait to get it all wired up.

Damnnnnnnnnnnnn...over 30 boxes shipped, you is the lucky one!

So since you suggested it, I will immediately implement that suggestion.

    Extra hardcore packaging, price TBA!
