Would building a sealed version making it any cheaper?

If I ever heard a sealed box I liked, maybe I would do it. Most are just not enough in an E30, unless you wanna run huge power and a huge woofer. This way is less money, lighter, easier on the alternator and to most people, sounds far better.

No, but back when hacking up '02's didn't cause hemorrhage, I used to do 6" woofers (or 6X9 woofer) under the rear seat, facing forward.

I don't think I have ever done a box in a 2002.
