And the 6x9's you would stick them in the rear panels?

I was looking at the foot well under the seat like the VW Beatles speaker location wonder whats behind there.

But about the 8's, I would build a full enclosure for each one. I would never even think about selling them here, we would be over $1200 for the pair easily.

On the other hand, I might consider doing a 6X9 conversion for the rears in the 'vert.

i had a 1600W 12" Alpine Type R in the trunk and that was way more bass than i needed. but had 0 trunk space. i just got the TS-SW2501S2 and im gonna mount it inside the spare tire. with my 800W amp.

I bet he has the cheapie set, those upper end ones sound pretty damn nice.

If you wanted better performance from them, dynamat all round them, then "seal" them in place so they have something for a baffle, and use better crossovers.
