I've got a strange problem with my oil pressure gauge. On startup the needle is pegged to the far right past 150psi...when I accelerate the needle starts to level off around 70-90psi. The more throttle input the lower the reading.
I know 100% that this is wrong so I'm thinking that it has something to do with the ohm's..
Here's the sender I purchased:
R8919 Pressure Sender: 0-150 PSI - 1/8 NPT - 240-33 Ohms
The gauge I have no idea but its either a 240-33 ohms or 10-180 Ohms but it must the latter since the gauge isn't reading right...
My question is, do I need another sender/gauge all together, or can I just somehow use resistors to trick it into thinking that its getting a proper reading from the sender?
