I need some input on what to get for a stereo for my cabrio. First a bit of background. Original stereo and speakers are GONE. Only components really that are still there are the door tweeters, a bit of wiring, and the factory Hirschmann antenna.
What I need is reccomendations on what to install with a budget of about 80 bucks for the speakers (stock fitment, total of 4 speakers) and a head unit (budget of about 120 bucks, preferably cheaper).
I know I wont be getting top of the line (or even middle of the road) but I dont want some cheap shit that keeps blowing out every 2 miles.
I will also be removing the amp and woofer box from my other car, so preamp outputs are nearly mandatory as is a front mounted aux input and a cd player.
Help a brotha out, and get some tunes going....
