i ordered "Pioneer TS-D1320C 5.25-Inch Rev-Series 180-Watt Speaker Package" for my front's today. to match the ones in my rear.

Those are a great sounding set of speakers. Do they come with tweeter mounts that adapt them to co-ax?

Guys, one of the things we want to do here now that we have all this room is to make plastic stuff. Justin has a ton of experience with vacuum forming and CNC, so at some point we plan on offering a 6.5" rear pod and a new design of door pods...maybe a few other things too.

If they are Premiums, they do fit, they are just a "wiggle into place" deal.

Well, yes. The tweeter can be glued to the grille, bu it is not at all necessary fopr the rears.

The mid needs a little modification to make sure it is not running through the choke coil that is mounted on it (the inductor wrapped around the magnet), but that is just unsoldering a wire and using it.

To mount them sucks though. Basically, you partially remove the panel, shove hte speaker in under it and reattach the panel, then you screw the speaker in, using the stupid little "tinnerman" clips. It is a pain in the butt, and honestly, when you have a proper high pass filter on, it really is not that big of a deal. Pretty much everything sounds the same when flapping in mid air, right?

I have pioneer ts-g1341r 2way in rear and the grill fits perfectly over that.

Yeah, the TS-G series has flat tweeters.

The TS-D series are far better quality, have a proper silk dome tweeter, blah blah blah, but stick out a bit.

you can tell then you look down on them that they dont fit but from the side, not bad and for the quality of sound they are very worth it.

this series of Pioneer is not the typical wal-Mart bullshit, these actually do sound good.

The locations still sucks balls, the thing is flapping in mid air...but I do have a solution coming in the future for that.

Luke, those can only handle 35w RMS each. The Jensen amp puts out 60W per channel. Is that going to be a problem? I want to get the most out of this setup and running half powered speakers doesn't seem like the solution. I know that the rears shouldn't be as powerful as the front but that seems like quite the desparity.

Power handling has so many variables that what is printed on the speaker is more of a guideline. For example is that RMS or max power? Also will they be crossed over or ran full range? What frequency will they be crossed over at? What sort of enclosure will they be in? How big? How well sealed? All these factors affect power handling to a great degree.

The 35w is RMS on those coaxials. They will not be crossed over and will be in an area that is nowhere near sealed.

Yes, they will be crossed over: you will use the crossovers in the amp.
