Locks are out of sync when unlocking using Viper alarm

I need some help from some of you that are good on car alarms, i got a Viper 300ESP installed on my e30 and my driver seems to always not lock when activated by the alarm, i always have to lock it manually by pushing the knob down but then when i unlock it with the remote it unlocks after my passenger door unlocks soo basically its out of sync, is there a solution to this? i tried it with 2 systems already and its same behavior

Does the passenger door lock? It sounds like, from your description, that the passenger door locks and unlocks fine with the remote. So in that case, the problem would be local to the drivers door lock assembly, which might need lubrication or more effectively, replacing.

the passenger door locks just fine with the system its just that my driver door unlocks .5 seconds after the passenger door unlocks, quite annoying, possibly the door actuator is going out?

yup. If the rest of the locks, including trunk operate normally and the drivers do not, its the actuator.

The alarm just outputs a negative trigger signal and does not actually drive the door locks. Replace actuator and your problems will go away.

It's also worth taking a peek at the connector in the door jamb.

They have a habit of turning green and shitty over time.

I have here the actuator from the drivers door, like i mentioned, it doesnt lock, i have to manually lock it, but when i hit the disarm button on my alarm, it unlocks it completly, so is it a possibility of a bad connection?

Black, Red, Light Blue, Brown, Purple are the wires

Also ill have to take a look at the door jam like what Dave said, hopefully ill find a solution before getting a replacement

That's an after market door lock actuator and installation. You can tell by the wire loom leading into the door. You can try swapping the actuator from the passenger door to see if problem lies in actuator or wiring. Also you can send 12v down a pair of the wires to see the actuator move in both directions. most often if a motor (or actuator) moves in 1 direction, it should work in the other.

Since the other doors lock, the problem lies local to door actuator wiring.
